Centrepoint’s Empty Homes Project is an inspired idea that helps young homeless people in the North East of England renovate empty homes to move in to. The project aims to provide 74 new homes for young people who have been homeless. Not only will the project provide new homes, the young people involved will learn new skills and work side-by-side with skilled tradesmen.
As an ethical employee benefits company, Wider Plan feels that it is important to share its success with those who need a bit of extra help. The company was pleased to be able to donate £2,500 in support of the Empty Homes Project.
Being the home of KiddiVouchers, the welfare of young people is an issue close to our hearts and we want to help to make a difference when we can. We look forward to seeing the results of this exciting project.Alison Chalmers, Wider Plan
We are delighted Wider Plan has seen the huge potential of our Empty Homes project. The ability to renovate empty homes and provide training opportunities for homeless young people simply wouldn’t be possible without such kind support.
Thank you very much indeed.Victoria Parker, Centrepoint Development
